Dear Members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors,&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;I am writing to urge you to support Supervisor Matt Dorsey’s ordinance to expand drug free housing options in San Francisco.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Supportive housing residents deserve a real choice in the kind of environment they live in. For many, that means the option to live in a safe, drug free residential community.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;San Francisco’s current approach inflicts a 100 percent drug tolerant Housing First model on everyone. It allows rampant illegal drug use, including fentanyl and methamphetamine, with zero consequences. That is why Supervisor Dorsey is sponsoring this legislation to give residents of permanent supportive housing the choice to live in safe, drug free communities.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;This legislation is about:&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;• Giving residents the ability to choose what works for them&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;• Creating safer and more stable living environments&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;• Moving beyond a one size fits all system&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;No one should be forced into a housing environment that does not support their well being.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Please vote yes on this ordinance.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;Sincerely,
